The idea was to encourage users to get up early in the morning and take their coffee in the nearest Starbucks. The earlier they wake up, the better discount they could receive for the first coffee of the morning. The early bird catches the worms!

If the user is lazy and presses the snooze button, the discount will lower again and again.
